Job Title:  Consultant (Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change)

Educational qualification: Master degree in Sustainability/ Environment/ Economics, certifications in ESG/ climate studies, MRV and risk analysis are a plus

Years of experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the sustainability space, preferred to be in consultancy with relevant project experience in corporate ESG disclosures (SR, IR, , corporate ESG data analysis, monitoring of KPIs etc. Experience of ESG assessment methodologies such as FTSE, MSCI etc. along with climate risk analysis, decarbonization strategy will be preferred;

Professional experience:

• Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, DJSI/S&P, CDP, BRSR, TCFD, UNPRI etc.;

• Strong knowledge of existing and evolving ESG concepts and practices across sector/geographies;

• Demonstrate familiarity with ESG market in India and the region;

• Command over advance MS Excel is a must and other data science skills are a plus;

• Experience in proposal and client management will be preferred;

• Capable of work under pressure with strategic optimization. Maintain flexibility in work hours and work independently with minimal supervision;

• Excellent communication and written content development skills in English;

• Excellent virtual or face-to-face presentation skills, with a firm understanding of deal dynamics for a given assignment;

Responsibilities:

• Work with project managers to plan project execution and deliver client satisfaction;

• Execute projects with clear visibility of the project objectives, and the benefits expected by the client and ERM;

• Coordinate ESG advisory projects with support from conception through delivery to client, including identifying strategic direction of the work and assisting team members in project related tasks;

• Developing contents, present analysis and conclusions including written reports and metrics;

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary, or multi-workstream projects spanning various aspects of a client’s sustainability platform in a collaborative and effective manner;

• Client satisfaction through project communications & engagement, quality of outputs produced to deliver client service excellence;

• Collaborate and work with analysis to deliver on work requirements;

• Collaborate across team members to update on ESG concepts, work-related methodologies and best practices;

• Accountable for meeting personal billability at the budgeted rate.
