BACKGROUND
We are in the process of data collection including farm boundaries and farm diaries by using specific tools (android mobile application) and a specified questionnaire (google form) for the development of trap free solution (Multi Signal) from a shortlisted 1190 farmers from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Rajasthan, and Punjab, etc. There is an immediate requirement for data collection to facilitate the development of trap-free solutions. The two data consultants recruited in Telangana have started collecting the required data and this model seems to be successful with a good number of farm boundaries collected from the field so far. To proceed with other major states, it is proposed to hire data consultants as detailed below with the terms and conditions hereunder

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collection of farm boundaries using “field area measuring” an android mobile application
- Collection of farm diary data using the format developed by WIAI
- Coordination with farmers, field staff, and WIAI team members regarding the above task
- Collection of soil samples and coordination with relevant EOs/FFs to get them submitted to KVK’s/ other labs
- Submission of collected data and reports to WIAI team members within the due dates
- Conducting training to field staff and lead farmers
- Periodical data collection for Monitoring and Evaluation studies as per the defined methodology / proforma for trap-based solution
- Recording observations from the demo plots for trap free solution
- Undertaking any activity needed to achieve the above objectives including travel, phone calls, etc.
- Coordinating with partners and assisting in other field related activities
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduation in Agriculture with field experience
- Candidates with their own two-wheeler will be preferred
