**Job Description: Field Coordinator (Technical Assistance)**

**Location:** Eluru/NTR District, Andhra Pradesh, India  

**Position Type:** Temporary (6 months)  

 

**About the Company:**  

EAII Advisors supports state governments in delivering evidence-based public health programs, including safe drinking water initiatives and school-based National Deworming Day. Operating across 10 states, EAII provides technical assistance to ministries of health, education, water, and women and child development, improving health outcomes for impoverished communities.

 

**Position Overview:**  

The Field Coordinator (FC) will report to the District Coordinator and work closely with the ISW Operations Team to implement the India Safe Water program at the subdistrict level. The FC will support the installation, operation, and coordination of water treatment sites, engage with government officials, and ensure the correct implementation of the program.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– **Government Advocacy (60%):** Train and build capacity of sub-district/block/mandal officials; assist in establishing water quality policies and tools; maintain relationships with senior officials; represent EAII in engagements with contractors and communities; lead training sessions for government officials, stakeholders, and communities; provide recommendations to state-level governments on program performance.

– **Stakeholder Engagement (20%):** Coordinate participation of stakeholders, including contracted vendors and community leaders; hold suppliers and contractors accountable for work agreements; ensure smooth project implementation.

– **Project Implementation (20%):** Provide technical support to Zonal Coordinators across all phases of the program, including device installation, operations, and data collection. Travel to various locations as required.

 

**Requirements:**  

– Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 2-5 years of experience in Water, Public Health, Sanitation, or Hygiene.

– Experience working with government officials at field, district, and block levels.

– Strong communication skills in Hindi/Telugu; understanding of local dialects is an asset.

– Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

– Valid driving license and vehicle (2/4 Wheeler).

– Familiarity with PHED/RWSS systems and experience in capacity-building government stakeholders at district levels are bonuses.
