Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Handle supporter correspondence and telephone communication in a timely, professional manner.
- Generate welcome packs, letters, and responses to requests for information from PETA India members.
- Send out major donor updates as required.
- Support the Fundraising Department in planning and organising special fundraiser events,
- sending out invitations, making reminder calls, sending gifts to donors, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure events go as planned
- Help the department in setting up new fundraising initiatives, such as employee payroll distribution, legacy giving, and setting up collaborations with corporations
- Ensure that accurate records of donor interactions are logged and maintained on the membership database as per PETA India’s data protection policies
- Oversee face-to-face fundraising campaigns
- Serve as a primary contact for donors and assist them with making donations
- Thank donors via phone, e-mail, and post
- Assist the fundraising team with handling donor enquiries
- Answer phone calls
- Maintain and update the department’s paper and electronic files
- Perform ad hoc administrative duties for the department
- Undertake any other duties required by the supervisor
Qualifications: - Relevant college or university degree
- Experience working in an office setting
- Experience working with a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and a high level of ethical conduct
- Proven excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively with limited supervision
- Ability to organise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Professional appearance
