Waste Warriors is looking for a Head of Finance to report to the CEO who can take complete accountability of all accounting, financial and regulatory aspects of the organization. This is a critical position as this person will be responsible to provide useful insights to the CEO for decision making, based on financial data of the organization. Duties & Responsibilities 

● Oversee and manage the Company’s accounting function, fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting and auditing, and financial policies regarding procurement, etc. 

● Actively manage the accounts team in ensuring tasks are completed on time and accurately.

● Maintain a strong yet sensitive internal controls environment and financial reporting process. 

● Coordinate, train, resolve issues with the operations team on any finance-related issues. 

● Closely coordinate with our internal & statutory auditor for all compliances, audits, UCs, etc. 

● Coordinate with banks for managing existing accounts, opening new accounts, troubleshooting etc. 

● Create, update, regularly monitor the company’s Financial MIS to support the CEO in decision making. 

● Proactively identify budgetary challenges, and organizational financial risks and effectively communicate to the CEO with possible solutions. 

● Monitor banking activities of the organization and maintain banking relationships. 

● Suggest improvements to the budgeting aspects to the Growth & fundraising Team 

● Establish company-wide objectives, policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices to assure the Company of a continuously sound financial accounting structure. 

● Prepare and report financial data, results, and forecasting reports to the CEO 

● Monitor and ensure adequate cash flow and is sustainable to meet the organization’s needs 

● Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of Auditors and Regulators. 

● Maintain relations with External Auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations. 

● Assist in formulating the Company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives. 

● Undertake additional responsibilities, if any, given by the Company.

JOB REQUIREMENT

An Ideal Candidate Will: 

● Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a very hard-working individual. 

● Will be very good at analyzing financial data. 

● Be sensitive to the needs of the team members, & soft-spoken. 

● Be self-motivated and demonstrate a strong ability to lead and work as part of a team. 

● Manage time efficiently and keep track of multiple important responsibilities. 

● Have proficiency in Tally, G-Suite, MS Office, and basic ICT skills. 

● Have direct exposure to handling FCRA accounts & Compliances, experience with GST and other regulatory compliances. 

● Have 15-20 years of experience in non-profit organizations managing teams, accounts, and financials. 

● Ability to communicate effectively with team members from field staff to the Board. 

● Ability to work under pressure and to take initiative. 

● Positive and never-give-up attitude.

Base Salary
INR 700000 – INR 1000000/yr
