**Job Location:** Bangalore, Karnataka, India
**Job Overview:**
The Head of Program Design will manage the end-to-end design and monitoring of peer-based pedagogy programs aimed at building student agency. This role involves working with government education officials and teachers to ensure successful program outcomes across various program locations. Key responsibilities include:
* **Program Development:** Leading the design and development of all programs, aligning them with organizational goals, creating program roadmaps and timelines, and working with Program Managers for implementation.
* **Program Design:** Conducting research to identify student and stakeholder needs, developing theories of change, co-creating learning materials and trainings, and visiting schools to assess program quality and implementation.
* **Scalability Planning & Quality Assurance:** Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic approach to program design, conducting regular reviews and audits, creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training team members.
* **Documentation and Reporting:** Creating comprehensive documentation for program design, curriculum, and assessment strategies, and generating regular reports and case studies on program performance.
**Experience Required:** Minimum 6-7 years of experience in designing education programs, with proven experience in designing and implementing educational programs at scale.
**Required Skills:** Strong planning and organizational skills, collaborative teamwork abilities, excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English and Hindi, research skills, M&E and data analysis expertise, and experience in session design for both student and adult learning. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a self-driven approach are essential. A passion for education is a must.
**Education:** An undergraduate degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
**Language Proficiency:** Fluency in English and Hindi (oral, reading, and writing) is required. The candidate must be comfortable traveling to field locations for school visits.
**Compensation:** INR 8-12 LPA CTC (Negotiable based on experience and fit)
