About the program:

Changelooms is a year-long learning and leadership journey to support young early-stage social entrepreneurs working with youth and adolescents on diverse issues. The program aims to strengthen entrepreneurial capacities by creating spaces that nurture forward-looking, wholesome leaders, for sustainable social change initiatives that ensure social, economic, psychological, and cultural inclusion. Changelooms also provide young Changemakers who have an innovative social change idea, with a platform to develop, experiment, and run their social change ideas on the ground. The focus is to give young people a space to make impactful social change initiatives through the projects. Over the years, we have supported more than 600 young entrepreneurs from more than 200 social change initiatives and 250 social change experiments in 25 states across the country on diverse thematic areas.

About the Role: The Lead – Changelooms reports to the CEO at Pravah and is responsible for the overall holding of operations and quality implementation of the Changelooms programs at Pravah; building the second-line leadership within, and co-leading the shared leadership in the organization. The role will entail the responsibilities given below:

❖ Roles and Responsibilities

  • Building a pipeline for the Changelooms program through external events, business development meetings, proposals, etc.
  • Understand Pravah, its processes, and approaches fully in order to perform the role effectively.
  • This would include developing an understanding of the various programs and interventions of
    Pravah as well as the 5th Space framework and designs
  • Fundraise for the Changelooms program to support ……. Changeloomers in the time period starting from ……… with the aim of securing a long term partnership for financial stability
  • Establish and set up a team for holding the program, along with the capacity building of the team for effective program delivery through monitoring, governance, field visits, documentation, etc.
  • Participation in joint fortnightly governance with CEO
  • Participate in the design and implementation of organizational training, review and planning exercises, meetings, and retreats
  • Develop, promote and manage processes that build interpersonal relationships and personal connections within Pravah 

We are looking for a person with:

  • A postgraduate/ graduate degree with 8-10 years of work experience in managing programs
  • Interest in deep engagement in self to social interventions.
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience and willingness to work with young Social Entrepreneurs
  • Experience and interest in business development and fundraising
  • Ability to multi-task, and nurture relationships
  • Ability to inspire and be inspired, openness to learning and think out of the box and connect with people
  • Commitment to youth leadership and social justice issues
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Capacity to work hard and keep commitments, strengthen fundraising systems and processes within the organization including databases and computer-based communications, and effectively coordinate meetings and events.

Remuneration:

The remuneration will start from 7L going up to 10L per annum and will be decided based on experience.
