Qualification/Skills/Experience

·       Graduate or Postgraduate in any stream or law degree

·       Must be registered as a Trademark Agent

·       Priority will be given to the candidates with 1 or more year of experience in Trademark related matters.

·       Capable of handling independent correspondence with IP Office.

·       Should have strong verbal and written communication skills, should be willing to work independently as well as in a team.

·       Highly organized with ability to prioritize and multitask

·       Flexibility and willingness to work on a wide variety of matters

Nature of Work

·       Providing legal advice on issues related to trademarks, copyrights, and other forms of intellectual property;

·       Trademark Searches and opinion

·       Filing & Prosecution of trademark applications

·       Legal opinion on trademark matters

·       Attending to Examination reports and Office Actions and attending hearings at the Trade Mark Office independently

·       Assisting in trademark oppositions and rectification and support to the litigation team through research and analysis of recent cases etc.

·       Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations with potential impact on the rights of the child;

·       Keeping up with current changes in all relevant areas of law and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the organisation’s legal function.
