Job Description:

Role Context: 

The Content Development SME’s role to develop consistent learning products for WITP and establish its online / offline presence. This job involves overseeing, researching, creating and developing training content on emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Blockchain, Drone technology, RPA, IoT, etc. The requirement will be primarily to work with internally and with service partners, seek advice, guidance and liaise, to research and use content on these areas and create training and engagement products for the technology area/s, create and curate the desired content for WITP’s audiences. The goal is creating multimedia content that raises awareness on emerging technologies and leading to project implementation of these technologies in the respective departments of the audience.

The Content Development SME’s responsibilities will include writing and managing a content team (internal / external), therefore creativity and leadership skills are essential to this role. Therefore, the person who holds this position will need to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, English, marketing, communication, or journalism. They should also have work experience of creating content for at least three to four years before advancing to this managerial role or have a minimum of two to three years of managerial experience in their current role. They must have a proven record of creating effective content for specific audiences and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee content production and management of targeted content for WITP.

• Cooperate with the marketing team to consistently create web content and monitor its effectiveness over time.

• Manage the daily activities of a content team (internal / external) composed of content writers, IDs, graphic designers, videography, and other industry professionals (internally and externally)

• Maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year.

• Working with WITP team members, briefing and advising them about design style, format, print production and timescales.

• Design and Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, enhance and embellish presentations decks, brochures, and other related documents.

• Designing and creating training collateral under the instructions shared by WITP leadership.

• Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief and reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.

• Work with teams on advising and developing designs for LMS content for WITP courses, and develop of course materials for delivery of face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• The Content Development Manager, Learning & Design, will work with the Training Academy Team of WITP. The role will report to the Director – Learning & Design and form a key part of the Learning and Design Team. Alongside supporting and implementing the best-in-class training content initiatives that support the WITP goals, we are looking for someone who thinks out of the box and is well versed with current and new trends in the learning and content space.

• This role will be responsible to help ideate, design, develop, build, create, monitor and support strong learning content strategies for our training offerings across Govt. of India Officers and Bureaucrats.

• The incumbent will partner closely with senior leaders to execute the Learning Content agenda.

• Under the leadership and guidance of the Director, Learning & Design, this position will also foster relationships across the WITP team as well cross functions across Wadhwani Foundation.

• The incumbent is expected to contribute to the transformation and execution of development opportunities of learning content and trainings of WITP.

• The ideal candidate is a strong, administrative and consultative learning practitioner with exemplary stakeholder management skills and with a hand-on-working style.

Design related work for Content Development Manager

·         Create Training Courses – for offline Training with SMEs

·         Create Training Courses – Online Training with SMEs

·         Create Case studies – multimedia content.

·         Create / curate articles on emerging technologies.

·         Training Handouts (soft / hard copies)

·         Event and Program Invitations design

·         Fortnightly content supply to participants – create design layout for each (articles, video case studies, webinar, etc.)

·         Creation of Banners, flyers, catalogues, corporate video – 2 min for WITP, and 1-1.5 min video for virtual program- itinerary 

·         Create Training reports and program reports post every event.

·         Design and Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, (e.g. Collaterals for immersive labs.), company logos and websites, enhance and embellish presentations decks, brochures, and other related documents

·         Designing and creating training collateral under the instructions shared by WITP leadership.

·         Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size

·         Preparing drafts of material based on an agreed brief.

·         Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required

·         Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
