About Asha Kiran:

Asha Kiran – the hope project is rebuilding the lives of extremely poor affected post-COVID-19 via a network of credible non-profits in partnership with the government. The project targets poor rural women, migrant/construction laborer families to provide immediate and long-term support with women at the center and by building on SHG networks. The/Nudge is working with Uttar Pradesh’s State Rural Livelihood Missions, non-profits, and private sector organizations to help scale the livestock models targeting the poor.

In an effort to promote rural livelihoods centred around small livestock management, we are working and scaling the livestock initiatives by providing research, value-chain design, capacity building, and technical support. This role will be part of the product team responsible for the design and development of livelihood solutions for the communities we serve.

At The/Nudge you will: 

  • own the end-to-end research, skill gaps, design, and development of scalable and impactful livelihood training models for the community and community resource persons
  • handhold and build capacity of the implementation teams for a strong roll-out and execution of the training models on-ground
  • drive innovations, conduct targeted pilots and iterations to improve the training design for implementation of livelihood models at scale
  • own the development of training modules to support implementation at scale
  • work closely with operation and product teams, seek feedback and iterate the training module accordingly
  • conduct targeted pilots to improve the training quality and own the follow-on iterations, evaluations, assessment of outcomes and impact
  • manage a team of trainers on livelihoods and people’s institutions
  • coordinate with SRLM and other partners for planning, training and evaluating
  • develop business models to deliver L&D at scale
  • use data-influenced approach and gather insights/feedback from stakeholders to continuously
  • improve and deliver high quality content
  • work with partners to develop tech-based L&D solutions for scale 

Apply if you have:

  • graduate, post-graduate degrees
  • at least 8 years of work experience
  • experience in designing, developing, and conducting training for community frontline workers, SHG members
  • demonstrated ability to research, design, develop, pilot, and implement activities related to L&D
  • mostly training and capacity building of partner staff, cadre, and community
  • a strong bias for action and result-orientation
  • excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • demonstrated ability and willingness to learn continuously, collaborate and be open-minded
  • a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently
  • willingness to travel intensively in state and designated districts/block/panchayat and as per the needs of the program’s goals
  • written and spoken fluency in Hindi, English
