Communication Specialist
The Communication Specialist will drive the communication efforts for the Piramal Centre for Children with Special Needs. The incumbent will be directly involved in designing and implementing campaign plans and communication strategies, creating thought leadership content with key strategic partners, and providing support in authoring research-led articles under the guidance of the Communications Team. The candidate will also work with external stakeholders to further the programs campaign and communications goals, and support client engagement initiatives.
The Communication Specialist will lead the below initiatives:
Program Communications :- Lead in delivering campaigns and communication strategies aligned with stakeholder interests, goals, and objectives.
- Implement creative strategies, curate thought leadership content, manage communication platforms like social media, print media, and contribute towards creating communication collaterals like videos, websites, infographics, etc.Stakeholder Management :
- Planning and prioritizing partnership activities. (Identify and source partnership opportunities; research funders, identify key players and generate interest)- Assist in developing partnership proposals. Create documents that tell compelling stories of our impact and outcomes, incorporating partner feedback and meeting donor requirements.- Maintain active liaison with all key Communication stakeholders and internal + external stakeholders.Build a knowledge base by authoring articles and blogs :- Curate evidence of impact and best practices (from India and global experience).- Create actionable models for different stakeholders from the knowledge base.- Generate a steady stream of reports, articles, blogs, etc.- Document processes and creating standardized templates for all stakeholders.Research :- Create a database of relevant research to understand latest trends in the ‘Diversity’ domain to articulate narratives across various sectors to inform creation, language and means for effective communication strategies.
Project Management Support :
Support in creating project reports and proposals for both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience :
- Master’s in journalism, Public Policy, or relevant field with 5 years of work experience in writing and research.
- Experience in knowledge dissemination, writing and campaign development.
- Working, coordinating, and creating with a varied set of stakeholders from clients to partners to publications Experience in working with a wide range of formats.
- Experience in development of creative concepts.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Should be able to multitask and work in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication (Proficiency in Hindi & English is a must).
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PPT knowledge and demonstrated experience).
