Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with students to understand their career goals, skills, and interests.
Research, identify potential employers, build relationships with them and arrange job opportunities that align with students' career aspirations.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and other placement-related activities
Provide guidance and support to students in resume writing, interview preparation, and professional networking.
Maintain accurate records and databases of students, employers, and placement activities.
Track and monitor the progress and outcomes of placements, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
Conduct follow-up activities with students and employers to gather feedback and improve the placement process.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, labor market conditions, and employment to enhance placement strategies.
Collaborate with the state team and faculty members to integrate placement activities into the sector.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of placement initiatives by tracking trainee placements, job retention rates, and employer feedback. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures as needed
Building an active working relationship with representatives of companies, Industry bodies and Placement officers.
Building a robust database of employers by networking with employers, industry bodies to make it available to program implementation partners
Support of training and facilitation of employability sessions and sessions through boot camp model in Karnataka whenever needed
Skills Required:

Knowledge in placement of candidates at Fresher level of a NGO or of Technical institutes is preferred.
Knowledge of liasioning with companies and experience of industry connect including the role of placement of students within organizations.
Previous experience of customer/client contact especially establishing and developing effective links with companies in the relevant discipline/field.
Experience of working & training of young adults for Jobs, On the Job Training, etc.
Good computer skills (i.e. Good at Data Analysis)
Must be able to work to meet the needs of the placements service.
Willing to undertake external visits & should be open to traveling across locations
A team player and able to negotiate and consult with all those engaged with
