We intend to work with people facing multiple challenges to be able to create larger impact. The strategic goals of the Piramal Centre are to a) strengthen the voice and autonomy of people with disabilities (individuals); b) build resilient inclusive communities (communities); c) build inclusive and sustainable local and national systems and services (systems); d) thereby ensuring that parents and/or guardians of ‘special persons’ know that, in their absence, their wards are safe and cared for.

Key Responsibilities :

The Program Manager will be responsible for designing, contextualizing & rolling out services to people with diverse (special) needs by setting up the Piramal Centre for Persons with Disability.

– You will be required to develop pioneering solutions to setup the model school that will provide robust support to children to learn at par with children without special needs and provide support to ensure livelihood and independence.

– You will be accountable for managing crucial partnerships within the State as well as managing community outreach of 5 to 10 districts within a state.

You will be accountable for the following :

Children Response Platform :

– Make the physical infrastructure accessible for everyone by adopting the universal design (Repurpose its Jhunjhunu campus)

– Make services accessible so that every individual can achieve their potential, can align their presence with the mainstream and evade the threat of being marginalized

– Ensure safety by enabling lifelong residential services- Research on various topics and generate insights to develop robust products/services

Parent’s Capacity Building :

– Create and execute mobilization plan to spread awareness about available government schemes amongst the parents of children with special needs

– Plan & budget for Parent’s training & other capacity building activities

– Document and analyze services / solutions that address the concerns raised by the parents of these children

Partnership Development :

– Build and sustain strong partner relationship with state level Govt. officials & Partner Organizations for achieving Project Goals within defined timelines

– Ensure timely Approval of Budget, guideline, SOPs etc. from Govt. for Project Initiatives

Project Management :

– Define project goals, project operation plan, timelines

– Design input-output matrix, impact assessment indicator and processes for the project

– Performance management and capacity building of your team

Program Management :

– Support with the development of a 3 year roadmap based on program goals and state needs

– Ensure success of program by identifying and managing potential risks

– Support onboarding of state program team, state officials, and other stakeholders onto roadmap; Develop Memorandums of Understanding (MoU)
