Experience:

Min 3-5 years experience in the development sector especially the experience of at least 3 years in the Promotion & Support of Community Based Organizations (SHG, Cluster, Federation & FPO)

Skills & Competencies required:

  • In-depth Understanding of Functioning of CBOs (SHG, Cluster, Federation, KVS & FPO)
  • In-depth understanding of monitoring, evaluations, and reporting functions especially in the context of CBO
  • Good training and Facilitation Skills
  • Good Liasion Skill
  • Community Centric & Team handling
  • Experience in Agriculture, Marketing, FPO and Capacity Building
  • Fluency in both oral and written communication in English & Hindi

Job Profile:

  • Supporting the implementation of Village Institutions in the project, facilitating training to CBOs (SHG, Cluster, Federation, KVS & FPO), enterprise setup, and providing handholding support to them.
  • Ensuring qualities indicators laid down for each CBOs promoted and developed and provide
  • Inputs as required basis for better functioning.
  • Ensuring Monthly MIS for each CBOs (SHG, Cluster, Federation & FPC) and grading of each type of Institution at least twice a year.
  • Preparation of training calendar for each type of Institution
  • Planning and effective linkages of SHG , Federation & FPC with banks for credit linkages.
  • Strengthening the systems of project MIS and AKRSPI.
  • Planning and handholding support to the field teams
  • Ensuring the completion of the Solar irrigation system and comprehensive update of so far completed activities
  • Ensuring effective leverage with the current existing government program and ensuring effective convergence with line department at the District level for Social entitlements & leverages.
  • Generating awareness, mobilizing women members, organizing and incorporating the federation & FPO
  • Providing support for the functioning of the SHG, VO, Federation & FPO as per the guidelines.
  • Building linkages with stakeholders relevant to the SHG, FPO ecosystem (Banks/NABARD/ SFAC/District and Block Line departments)
  • For input procurement and distribution, output aggregation, and training members on their functioning of CBOs.
