**Job Description: Project Lead – eGov Foundation**
**Location:** Bangalore, India

**Job Description:**
The Project Lead role involves leading the product development team for large-scale DIGIT projects globally. The mandate is to ensure the success of the DIGIT platform, facilitating accessible, efficient, and transparent services in critical areas such as health, urban governance, sanitation, and public finance management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Lead engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
– Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
– Facilitate planning meetings and publish release plans with milestones.
– Serve as the central point of contact for assigned delivery tracks, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation plans.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Platform/Product Engineering, Product Team, Solution Engineering, Program Teams, and DevOps) to identify and resolve dependencies.
– Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders and foster collaboration among teams.
– Establish engineering delivery processes and guidelines aligned with organizational goals.
– Provide thought leadership throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including system analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
– Advocate for development best practices while leading and managing the development team.
– Conduct regular change management sessions to address technology updates.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in any field with IT experience.
– Demonstrated ability to lead multiple software/technology projects across locations.
– 6-8 years of total IT experience, with exposure to web/mobile application technologies.
– Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello) and version control systems (e.g., GIT).
– Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
– Experience leading teams in end-to-end development and implementation.
– Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
