Position Overview:
Adhyayan Foundation has been working with the DoE, Goa to build the capacity of 1000+ government officials and school leaders to:
a) review school quality across the state
b) provide professional development to school leaders
c) use data to monitor the quality of schools, build systemic accountability as well as provide support to schools based on their needs.
The next phase is to hand over to the state with SOPs and monitoring systems that will ensure sustainability of the activities.
The Project Manager, Quality Cell, will oversee the constitution and strengthening of the state’s quality cell. The quality cell will own and drive all improvement activities like school reviews, action planning for improvement, support visits to schools, data-driven meetings at all levels, capacity building of new leaders and finding the right kind of partners.
Experience and Qualifications:
● 2-3 years of experience working in the field of formal education including classroom teaching experience with a strong grasp of child-centric pedagogy.
● Work with Government stakeholders preferred.
● Post graduate degree in education preferred.
● Some experience building the capacity of stakeholders in education is preferred, especially school leaders.
● Experience in managing projects and leading small teams.
Responsibilities:
● Orientations to be conducted for each layer of members (Zonal Planning Team, hub leaders and State Resource Group) in the quality cell to use the SOPs and tools.
● Refining SOPs and tools based on emerging needs and feedback.
● Refresher sessions throughout the year based on the needs of the members of the quality cell.
● Aggregate data for weekly reports is used to take the quality cell through the data.
● Documentation of best practice by visiting schools and hubs.
● Scouting new local collaborations for the state and managing the Vidyanjali portal.

● Strong problem-solving skills.
● Ability to ride a two-wheeler and ready to travel to schools.
● Ability to speak Marathi is required, Konkani is a plus.
● Flexible and open to working in a dynamic environment with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
