Job Description

  • Responsible for developing content for SEO, website, email marketing, social media communication, program descriptions, videos, white papers, articles, blogs, coffee book and others.
  • Able to use SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organisation’s vision and values to inspire ideas and content.
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results.
  • Edit and proofread written content for errors and inconsistencies to match global standards.
  • Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability and drive engagement and recommend new content to address gaps in the existing content.
  • Creating compelling headlines and product description that will capture the attention of the target audience.
  • Possess knowledge of Keywords insertion & placement, sequencing, keyword density etc.
  • Prepare an overall strategy (monthly/ quarterly) for content as per discussions with internal stakeholders and the program management team.
  • Lead the development and execution of interactive and digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing team across multiple platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and others.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics.
  • Able to write stories for blogs or products and making sure that the stories are of right length and correctly placed thereby giving it more visibility with regards to the content.
  • Brainstorming ideas and concepts for the visual and words with other members of the creative team
  • Be able to work under pressure with a rapid TAT 

Desired Candidate

  • Minimum 6 years of work experience
  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics.
  • Experience of working on various e-commerce and b2b platforms will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
  • Strict adherence to the style guides of the company and the policies for publication.
  • Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
