Job Overview:

Pratham is seeking a highly creative and skilled Motion Graphic Designer/animator cum Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in motion graphics, some animation, video editing, and a keen eye for visual storytelling. The Senior Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful visual content that aligns with our brand identity and Communication goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Motion Graphics Design:

Develop visually stunning and dynamic motion graphics for a variety of digital platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Conceptualize and execute creative ideas to convey messages effectively through motion design.
2. Animation Production:

Create good-quality 2D animations, ensuring smooth and realistic movement of characters, objects, and environments.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and contribute to the overall visual narrative.
3. Character Animation:

Bring characters to life through expressive and believable animation, capturing the essence of personalities and emotions.
Ensure consistency in character movement and style throughout the animation sequences.
4. Video Editing:

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for promotional and marketing purposes.
Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video content.
5. Storyboarding and Conceptualization:

Collaborate with the creative team to translate ideas into visual concepts and storyboards.
Brainstorm and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the overall visual appeal of our video content.
6. Technical Proficiency:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in motion graphics and video editing software/tools.
Utilize software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro) to create professional-quality motion graphics and videos.
7. Project Management:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, gather follow-up and clarifying information and deliver results that exceed expectations.
Build capacity of program teams to contribute to overall visual media effort and repository for the organization.
Qualifications:

• 7-8 years of work experience
• A degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Film Production, or a related field is desirable
• Should be open to travel extensively to Pratham’s field locations
• Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer cum Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, animation, and video production techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Solid understanding of brand identity and branding tools
• A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
• Ability to work well with people
• Creativity and ability to think outside of the box.
• Ability to work fast, within tight turnaround times.
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of video production – Shooting skills would be preferred
• Knowledge of color grading and audio editing.
• Previous experience working in a development sector organisation.
• Proficiency in languages other than Hindi and English will be an added advantage
