Job Position: Senior S/W Engineer

Reporting to: Technology Head

Level/Grade: L3

Education and Experience: ASP.NET framework, MYSQL and design/architectural patterns. 5+ years of relevant experience

Location : Hubballi

Tentative Date of Joining : At the earliest

Key responsibilities and accountabilities :

• Understanding and documenting user requirements
• Understanding of various development methodologies, including: Traditional Agile or Waterfall and Iterative Development Methods (Unified Process and Agile)
• Leveraging REST services and other third-party APIs.
• Rapidly solving problems, bugs, and compatibility issues.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Ensure that the developing codebase conforms to best practices regarding coding standards, validation placement and flow of business logic, etc.
• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.
• Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code.
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
• Building reusable components and libraries for future.
• Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.
• Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Participating in code reviews
• Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services and applications at scale

Key Competency and skills :

(e.g. MVC – Model-View-Controller), C#, HTML5, Javascript, Jquery, CSS3 & Bootstrap, APIs (REST)
