Founded by a team of committed and passionate individuals, we believe in the need for an association of like-minded people and organizations to inspire action and sustain change efforts. Currently Mantra impacts more than 400,000 schools across 6 states in India. At the core of all our projects is the belief in, and efforts towards systemic education transformation.

About CoLab
CoLab is Mantra’s education lab that empowers the education ecosystem by addressing the need for rigorous, evidence-informed programmes and capacity building. Our desire for rigour and experimentation is what differentiates us from other education organisations. In collaboration with partner organisations, we research, design and pilot novel education solutions, which are disseminated as easily accessible packages.
Position Summary

Colab is a small and energetic team trying to do things differently within the challenging domain of affordable education. Therefore, you should expect responsibility, independence, complex challenges and uncertainty, as well as constant support from our team.
As Lead of Strategic Partnerships, you would:
● Create strategies for engaging diverse partner organisations. Develop /make changes to the existing partnerships strategy
● Develop a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
● Grow and curate a diverse and supportive community of partners in the ecosystem; Use business acumen to create meaningful partnership opportunities with various organisations and stakeholders, including NGOs, knowledge partners, design consultants, govt. agencies etc.
● Lead the co-creation journey of education programs with partners
● Effectively communicate with partners and internal team members by sharing timely updates
● Write grant proposals and participate in other fundraising activities for CoLab
Expectations
1. 2-4 years of experience in the education/development/partnerships role
2. Aptitude of networking
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to effectively present information and data
5. Willingness to learn, research and innovate
6. Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Compensation: Commensurate with the individual’s experience and qualifications
Time commitment: At least 2 years
