M&E’s work:
The M&E team at Udhyam Learning Foundation assesses the efficacy of program delivery and evaluates participant movement on mindsets and skills.
Research – Build – Assess – Present – Advise – Track
As we enter the 6th year of operations we are looking for someone who can lead our work to assess the efficacy of our various large scale programs, design frameworks for experiments & implementations and share insights (internally & externally) towards program improvement. Along with looking at our large scale programs, this role will also involve implementing research studies based on key questions for the program and to understand our long term impact and supporting all verticals towards robust measurement & reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the M&E team, including mentoring the team and co-work to achieve the set goals
- Enable professional development of team members
- Guide the team in planning and execution of different projects & experiments
- Design and implement MELI frameworks for Shiksha overall, in collaboration with leadership
- Guide the team in designing tools & project specific frameworks
- Create and deploy simple processes for working with various project teams
- Meaningfully engage in field activities when required
- Innovate new systems and projects in order to continuously improve work in the field.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in research, monitoring & evaluation (preferably in education)
- High bar of excellence for self & team
- Strong technical competence in research and monitoring and evaluation methods.
- Strong operational management ability: a clear focus on results – sets goals, plans and prioritizes effectively, monitors quality and progress of work against plans
- Strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
- Experience in leading a team towards ambitious goals
- Comfortable with technological applications and software like Excel, Google forms etc.
Desirable skills :
- Experience in working in classroom settings
- Highly creative/entrepreneurial in nature, along with an active interest in continuous learning
