Job Description:    

Development Alternatives is hiring a field expert to build model villages that entails working on community institution development (SHG & FIGs), and NRM related activities like Wadi development, water bodies construction and nala deepening with these there is also components of health and education primarily organizing health camps and strengthening SMCs.

Operation Villages– Dumar, Kota, Gidhiya, Nigaai, Chachikhurd

Responsibilities:

• Managing, building and co-ordinating the 5 member team of Agri field expert and community resource persons.
• Conducting training events and planning and review meetings.
• Stakeholder management-Different tiers of Panchayati raj institutions, block education officer etc.
• On-field monitoring and support to team
• Preparing base note for success stories / case studies and collaborating with local media channels

Desired Skills:

• Minimum Bachelors in any field
• Should have 2-3 years of work experience working in Rural India
• Should be able to manage intensive field visits
• Should have idea of model/integrated village development
• Experience in Community institution building, and education will be preferred
• Should be equipped in preparing success stories and building proper communication channels.
• Should be empathetic and process oriented.
• Should be able to join immediately.
• Basic computer and MS office skills.
