POSITION: Lead, Unit on Inclusion and Equality
DURATION: 3 years
OPPORTUNITY
- Conceptualise the Unit and support the leadership in undertaking gender mainstreaming policy and processes within the organisation
- Integrate processes that contribute to empowerment of women at the grassroots on
scale, with support of senior experts. - Co-create business processes with work units within the organisation to integrate and advance
gender inclusion and equality in all ongoing initiatives. - Build research and policy initiatives to strengthen gender inclusion in relevant public programmes
undertaken by TRIF.
CANDIDATE
- At least a Graduate / a Post graduate from a reputed recognized university in any discipline. A
degree in Social Sciences focusing on gender issues will be preferred but not mandatory. - 7-12 years of work experience working in genderrelated issues in a reputed non-profit organisation, academia or multilateral organisation. People with longer work experience fitting other requirements can also be considered.
- Must have prior work experience engaging with gender-related social development issues with an
intersectional lens. - Deep understanding of at least one of the 4 key flagship public programs mentioned above.
- Deep understanding of condition and position of rural women with interest to engage with large
public programmes to impact lives of women at scale essential. - Must be adept at developing capacity enhancement initiatives including galvanizing
trainers and rolling out large cascade-based programs. - Participation in feminist movements or networks would be preferred. But not mandatory.
