About the Program:
MyQuest’s objective is to provide a holistic development platform for young people as well as provide a lifelong, continuous learning opportunity to disadvantaged youth. We use content, pedagogy and technology, to drive the delivery of teaching and learning. Through our signature blended learning approach we develop critical life-work skills that are critical for success in the 21st century. Our curriculum includes media elements like games, videos, audio, and visuals as well as the use of dictionaries for vernacular translations.
About the role
Work as part of the Youth program and support in capacity building and quality management initiatives designed for trainers who are part of the MyQuest network such as Govt ITI trainers, Quest fellows/trainers and VTI trainers.
Roles and Responsibilities
Training Delivery, Coordination and Management
- Lead Training of Trainers for partner organizations (ITI, VTI etc) in Western region(includes logistics, material, team and experience management of TOTs)
- Anchor all TOT reports in Western region
- Co-design the training agenda, whenever required, for TOTs in Gujarat
- Provide feedback & support, as required, to Master Trainers in MyQuest
- Work closely to build process and systems around Trainer Recognition
- Support in designing the Trainers, Master Trainers and Partner journey maps
- Develop a clear calendar for trainings in 2021 for webinar Design & Delivery
- Co-lead the Design and delivery of the internal & Partner Capacity building of the Western Region (ITI & VTI)
- Support in achieving all the deliverables of the Knowledge partners(VTI) as planned
Contribute to Quality management initiatives of MyQuest Facilitator and Content Development Team
- Anchor the design and the Implementation of Learning Experience matrix in all the regions (VTI)
- Conduct Learning Experience Matrix (on a need basis) at partner Vocational Training Institutes in the Western region
- Review the effectiveness and quality of the MyQuest internal facilitators at ITIs in the region every quarter
- Collect feedback on Toolkits (Quest online and offline content) from Trainers & Students periodically
Cascade Model
- Conduct the effective training of Master Trainers training on Employability skills curriculum implementation in the Western region
Drive Trainer Tribe engagement among all the trainers both internal and external
- Responsible for onboarding all trainers in ITI & VTI Space in the state of Western region in TT Platforms.
- Support the Project lead in engaging with trainers online and offline. Play an active role in the overall strategy to build a strong online network
- Facilitate atleast 1 session on Trainer Tribe
- Create/Curate and Share one learning post per month on TT platform
Relationship Management – Stakeholders (Internal and External)
- Support in the Capacity building of MyQuest internal facilitators – Western region
- Support MyQuest internal facilitators/fellows at NSTIs and Govt ITIs by implementing the Facilitator Support Strategy in the region
- Take part in workshops, discussions involving MyQuest internal facilitators
- Support MyQuest internal facilitators in the region for conducting events, relationship management at the institute, if required.
- Co-create and adhere to team norms, vision, learning goals and strategic plans of MyQuest Facilitator and Content Development team
Team Management
- You may have to manage interns or fellow in the program as relevant
Reporting
- Support in data collection, impact assessment and content development initiatives of Facilitator and Content Development team
- Anchor TOT Dashboard data for Western region
- Participate and contribute in team meetings and reviews, staff engagement activities.
- Support all reporting requirements such as quarter reviews, annual reviews
Requirements
Qualification:
- A Master’s degree in Social Work/Rural Management or other development disciplines, with 2-3 years of work experience preferably in the Education/Vocational Training sector
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- Ability to draft compelling reports grounded in data
- Ability to train facilitators and youths in the vocational training program and ITI
- Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
- Proficient in MS Office tools, and the Internet.
