Key Responsibilities
The emergence of the pandemic has led to the closure of not only higher educational institutes and colleges even the country’s most critical education units, primary schools across the nation. This generates the need for rapid transformation from the conventional physical classroom learning system to the digital sphere of learning. NASSCOM Foundation has a mandate to provide exposure of computers and digital learning to communities that are deprived of it or do not have proper access to the same. “Continued Learning Access Project” has been developed to implement more creative, sustainable and inclusive models of education through the use of Information technology. To address and mitigate the sizeable gap in the delivery of digital education in India and urgent interventions of ICT in the inaccessible areas of India.
A key member of the team, s/he/they will be responsible for the operations of this vertical. Broad outline of responsibilities is given below.
- Writing, editing and proofreading new content as per requirement.
- Perform thorough research before creating innovative content.
- Develop project MIS formats in consultation with donor’s communication executive and NGO partners.
- Be the overall custodian of the project dashboard and report it to relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with project coordinator and NGO partners for data capture and report it to internal/external stakeholders at regular intervals.
- Well versed in different platforms that help in creating content and graphics – Adobe Photoshop, ppt, excel, CSR EDMs/Creatives in html format etc.
- Create templates for sharing data in formats that make it easy to understand and consume – graphs, infographics etc.
- Preparing and sharing monthly, quarterly, annual CSR reports in specified formats/templates with donor’s communication executive.
- Create content that is adapted to various social media platforms.
- Preparing CSR EDMs/Creatives in html/photoshop format to be shared with the donor on as and required (mostly monthly).
- Sharing social media updates related to the project to NF communication and marketing head.
- Define hashtags and SEOs in consultation with donor communication executive for continued learning access project to be posted on social media and ensure all CSR partners/NGOs adhere to social media guidelines when they post details of projects related to donor and their partnerships.
- Other sustainability communications and content on as per the requirement.
- Other incidental work.
Key Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of post-qualification work experience in relevant field.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands on experience on Adobe Photoshop, video editing, artwork and designing portals.
- Hands on experience on MIS reporting, PPT, HTML newsletter, and infographic reporting
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong networks
- Self-confidence combined with openness to learning and applying new skills and concepts.
- Ability to understand new technology and concepts.
- Understanding of digital literacy and the digital divide gap in the formal education sector
- Experience in team management and leadership.
